This unity/connection is portrayed using a jigsaw puzzle, which shows the need for all African nations to come together to become one. It also shows the complexity involved in achieving this goal...but achievable nonetheless. The hand holding the final piece of the puzzle is used to represent social media as a whole,and shows its role in connecting African countries. The beads around the wrist show a few of the major social media platforms that help unite Africa with both itself and the world at large.
