Dennis and Dick will co-present two vendor training sessions at NOWRA 2016.
 
Dennis will discuss some of the basics of onsite septic system function and performance, with particular focus on gravelless dispersal technologies. He'll discuss how both conventional and graveless systems function, the basics of system sizing, and provide additional information on products used in these systems.
 
Dick will lead a discussion on system sizing. Dick will present the facts on system sizing in the areas around Reno, with a focus on the regulations which drive this aspect of the industry.

Plastic Septic Tank Technology Advancement and Installation Best Practices

Larry will discuss environmental challenges, market conditions, and regulations and how these factors influence the evolution of tank design. are all playing a role in the evolution of new tank designs. He'll talk about site and regulatory challenges installers face that dictate tank selection including the need to design compact systems for small lots and for systems in environmentally sensitive areas. The use of advanced wastewater treatment systems for limited and sensitive sites is a new application to consider in tank construction and use. The need for large tanks that can be easily transported to remote sites is another catalyst spurring the move to lightweight but durable plastic tanks
