Before the exam:
We will call you in the days before the exam to review preparation instructions and answer any questions.
Be sure to tell us if you are pregnant, nursing, or if there is a chance you may be pregnant.
The MRI technologist will review our safety checklist with you.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
During the exam:
In our comfortable outpatient facility, we’ll make sure your belongings are safe during your exam.
You’ll change into comfortable clothing and will be provided with earplugs or headphones during your exam. Our technologist will pay special attention to your comfort during the exam. If contrast is needed, an IV may be started prior to the exam.
After the exam:

A report will be sent to your doctor.
