Role overview: We are looking for patients who have participated in a preoperative assessment clinic and their caregivers to participate in a semi-structured interview.  We are interested in your experiences with and opinions of virtual preoperative assessment.
 
Each interview will be conducted by a research coordinator via video call and/or phone call, last less than 30 minutes, and be audio recorded.

Interviews with patient and their caregivers will be considered alongside those of physicians, registered nurses, allied health care professionals, schedulers, information technologists, and preassessment clinic support staff as we work towards implementing virtual preoperative assessments in Saskatchewan.
 
Knowledge, experience, skills required: Recent experience with preoperative care and assessment in Saskatchewan. 
 
Time commitment: 30 minutes
 
Location: Virtual/WebEx meeting or telephone interview
 
What you can expect from staff: Timely responses, ability to withdraw at any time throughout the study
