The Inward Turn Retreat

Radical Inclusion is the way to Peace

"In this retreat, we will practice together so we can loosen our type structure and learn to become more receptive to reality as it actually is."

Through exploration of the inner division and conflict we carry in our type structure contributes to defensive stances and reactions with fixed beliefs and defended hearts we will discover ourselves in a more intimate way.
In each of us, a light of our essential nature shines through when we feel we can relax and feel safe enough to open and be receptive to the world around us.

We can allow the perceptions and impressions to arrive and observe them for what they are without recording them in our brains. When we are just observing and becoming one with them we are sensing them disappear without any reaction to being for or against them. To allow the Inner Witness to stay with the arising of the impressions without trying to change them we allowing ourselves to open to our essential nature.

We will explore what obscures our essence and how we can learn to be with what is there and not follow the mind to analyze, classify, record, or drop it into our memory banks.
Anything that is not resisted, will not persist.
In 9 different ways, we are conditioned to defend ourselves against an aspect of reality in order to protect ourselves and therefore we are screening out that aspect of reality.

With the Somatic Awareness Practice cultivating the foundational elements and using the method we help our autonomic and central nervous system relax. With compassionate wisdom including all aspects of ourselves and allowing to safely and gently discharge we can witness the deep calm and peace of the reconciliation of inner conflict.

" If you understand what you are without trying to change it,
what you are undergoes a transformation"
J. Krishnamurti

Our type tends to filter our reality and narrows our view through the habit of placement of attention.

Practicing with  Inner Observer attention and grounding and orienting while learning how conscious and precise placement of attention will give us the freedom to witness our essential selves.

"Self-observation brings man to the realization of the necessity of self-change. And in observing himself a man notices that self-observation itself brings about certain changes in his inner processes. He begins to understand that self-observation is an instrument of self-change, a means of awakening."

G. I. Gurdjieff

We will use our mental, emotional and somatic lenses of perception for three centers integration and discern between ordinary and subtle perception.

In order to evolve we need to be guided in a conscious descent to understand how we developed and formed our type structure before we can awaken to our essence and ascend.

As you may have experienced after you know your type that your personality is giving you certain gifts and also limits your lens of perception, our type tends to filter our reality and narrows our view through habit of placement of attention.
