Description

The Free Shipping Bar Campaign is a powerful way to build your email list and turn your ecommerce store visitors into leads.

When visitors land on a page on your website, the opt-in bar appears along the top of the page. It asks them to signup to get free shipping on their next order in your ecommerce store. They enter their email in the form and click the sign up button. This takes them to the Thank You View of the opt-in bar where they get the coupon code. And this adds them to your email list.

You’ll then be able to send them follow-up email promotions and offers to turn them into customers.

Campaign

The Free Shipping Bar Campaign has 3 steps:

Step 1: A person visits your ecommerce store

A person visits a page on your ecommerce store and the opt-in bar is triggered.

Step 2: The Free Shipping Bar appears

The opt-in bar appears at the top of the page. The visitor clicks on the call-to-action button and is taken to your Contact Us page.

Step 3: The person is taken to the Thank You View

After the person signs up, they’re shown the Thank You View, where they see a thank you message and the free shipping coupon code.

Step 1: A person lands on your website

When visitors land on a page on your ecommerce store, the Free Shipping Bar is triggered.

Here’s how it works:

First, add the Wishpond Tracking Code to your ecommerce store. The code tracks when a person visits pages on your store. When a person visits a page, the code triggers the opt-in bar and it appears at the top of the page.

The bar doesn’t cover over anything on your website pages. It sits above the nav bar on your website so visitors still have access to everything.

Step 2: The Free Shipping Bar Appears

The Free Shipping Bar is where people type in their email. It has two jobs:

1. Get people excited to give you their email:

One of the best ways to get people to give you their email, as an ecommerce store, is with a free shipping coupon code.

2. Make it easy for people to sign up:

The Free Shipping Bar is made to be easy to understand. The text makes it quick and easy for people to read what to do, and what they’ll get when they sign up.
