Enter Your Stop Staring! Photo to Win a Stop Staring! Dress!

ELIGIBILITY   The contest is open to all Stop Staring! Facebook fans who are at least 18 years of age. Any entrant who is legally considered a minor in his / her State of residence must have permission consent of a parent or legal guardian to enter. There is no entry fee. The contest is void where prohibited by law, or where the registration or filing requirements of any state or local jurisdiction have not been complied with. Stop Staring! employees, marketing help, mobilization/street marketing team are not qualified to join the promo. TERMS   All photos must be the original work of the entrants and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. If the photo contains any material, watermarks or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photo, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit use of the photo.   Stop Staring! reserves the right to remove fan photos from the Facebook page and contest if the content of the photos does not promote the Stop Staring! values, including content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libellous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate.   By entering, entrants agree to release and hold Stop Staring!, its company, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors and agents, and each of their directors, officers, employees and assigns, free and harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of participation in the Photo Contest or use of the prize. Each winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Photo Contest or use or redemption of any prize. All entries become the sole property of Stop Staring! and will not be returned. By participating in this contest, each entrant agrees and grants Stop Staring! permission to make available and display/publish and otherwise distribute entrants’ names and photo submission in all media in any territory and in perpetuity without compensation. Except where legally prohibited, submission of an entry into this contest constitutes permission for Stop Staring! and its companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and licensees to use the entrants’ names, photograph, likeness, school, address (city and state), and testimonials, in printed, broadcast media, or new media, in perpetuity, in any territory and in any manner they deem appropriate in connection with promoting the photo submission itself or this contest, without further compensation in connection with this contest or the prize awarded.   All winners (and/or his/her parent or legal guardian if the winner is a minor) must execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability upon claiming the prize, if so required by Stop Staring!. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.   Prize includes only a Stop Staring! dress. All other expenses related to the winners prize is to the winners’ account.   Stop Staring! may, at its sole discretion and for any reason, substitute a prize of equal or greater value, including a cash award.   Stop Staring! is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible, delayed, corrupted, non-delivered or misdirected entries or e-mail, or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware or software, lost or unavailable network connections, incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information or loss of entry information, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, or any other human or technical errors of any kind, or any combination of any of the foregoing. Stop Staring! is not responsible for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with this contest.   Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Stop Staring! and the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Stop Staring! is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Photo Contest or in the announcement of any prize. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.

  • 40% - Content: How well does it speak of the theme, “Stop Staring! Photos”? DTM
  • 30% - Composition: Does the photograph tell a story? Originality. Creativity. DTM
  • 30% - Impact: How well does the photograph connect to the viewer? Tabulated Viewer Votes will be applied.
SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY
Once sent in, we will post the photo on the Stop Staring! Facebook Page.
WINNER NOTIFICATION 
Stop Staring! will announce the contest winner on March 10, 2014, via The Stop Staring! fan page as well as through their personal email.
