Marjie's Swiss Steak
2lbs of round steak cut in 1-inch slices
-coat steak haphazardly in a mixture of flour, salt and pepper
-pound both sides of coated steaks with the edge of a saucer
-in a little oil brown steaks on both sides
-add 2 (14.5 oz) cans of stewed tomatoes
-add one large onion cut into wedges
-add about 6 carrots & 6 stalks of celery cut into large sticks
-add a couple of potatoes cut into wedges
-add salt, pepper and Worcestershire and a little sugar til it tastes just right
-simmer on low just about all day til the meat falls apart
-eat it all up!!
