Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Recipe
2 pounds boneless pork sirloin roast
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cups ketchup
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
1 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp ground mustard
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Optional: dash each of basil, thyme, oregano
Place pork in bottom of slow cooker. In a medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients. Pour sauce over pork. Cook in slow cooker for 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. (I like to turn once or twice while cooking, but it’s not necessary.) Use two forks to shred the meat. Mix pork and sauce together again. Let cook an additional 15 minutes. (If sauce is too runny, add in 1 Tbsp corn starch, stir, and let cook an additional 10 minutes.) Serve on buns.
