Slow Cooker Meatball Subs- - INGREDIENTS - 1 Egg, 2/3 cup bread crumbs, 2/3 cup chopped onion, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1.5 lbs ground pork, 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce, 1 cup chopped green pepper, 4 tbsp packed brown sugar, 2 tbsp yellow mustard, 1 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp garlic salt, 1/2 tsp pepper - Directions - In a bowl combine eggs, bread crumbs, 1/3 cup onion, salt, oregano, and 1/4 tsp black pepper - add ground pork mix well, shape into meatballs - makes about 2 dozen, bake for 25-30 min in a baking pan at 350 - in the meantime put the tomato sauce, remaining onion, green peppers, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, garlic salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper into the slower cooker and stir up - once the meatballs are out of the oven add to the mixture - cover (set and forget) for either 3-4 hours on high or 1 - 1.5 hours on low - you can serve in a bowl or on hoagie buns and top shredded mozzarella cheese and ENJOY
