This measures 1.3 metres and I made it for the nursing home that my mother resides in to give the residents something bright and cheery to look at.
my teapot man dedicated to my mother inlaw that passed away and i used all pieces from her house.
I love "memory mosaics" and this bowl has bits from my childhood in addition to new and beautiful bits of glass and memories from the present.
This is a sample piece that was to be for a much larger project. It is a picture that represents the sand, sea and sky. I have made use of different coloured grouts to define the water and sand.
The kitchen clock, I integrated tiles we used in the kitchen with mosaic tiles and broken mirror. This clock looks different at different times of the day.

My Favourite Mosaic Competition
By submitting your images you give Specialty Art Glass the permission to display it on the website www.specialtyartglass.com.au or any future websites, blogs, facebook or other internet sites operated by Specialty Enterprises Pty Ltd.
This competition is open to everyone, all you have to do is submit a photo of an original mosaic that you have completed. This could include a garden pot, water feature, birdbath, chair or stepping stone, basically any piece of mosaic art.
