I run the Friday League here in Central Minnesota and one year I gave away three Mach 14s. I didn't want it to be just best game to win, I wanted it where everyone would have a chance to win but also have skill involved. For one of the baskets I had an elimination round. The winner from each of the 9 groups teed off on hole #1. The worst score player would be eliminated [with CTP on the next holes for ties]. 9 players start... on hole #2 there will be 8 players, hole #3 there will be 7 and after hole #9 there will be 1 survivor. There was one woman in the group [this was years ago when women were just getting into the game here]. Many holes she barely survived being 2nd to last but she survived to hole #9. It was here against the best player around. If both tied the hole it was CTP on the drive wins the basket. The guy drove and based the hole within a foot. He won the Mach 14. When I awarded him the basket he said that he already owned a Mach III and gave her the basket. Very cool.
