What does the Wheelchair Heart symbol mean to me? Why do I love 3E? Why is a positive social image of disability important? How do I embrace diversity, educate the community, empower others, and love life? These are the questions that inspired me to enter this contest. I was also inspired by my son! My son is 15 years old and has been using a wheelchair forever. The symbol means the world to me. Just as my son does. It shows to love all, accept all, embrace all. I love 3E Love, because it reminds me of how much love and inspiration most people in wheelchairs have to show to me, to us, to the world. It is crucial in this day and age to spread love and acceptance & that is something I admire about 3E Love. This positive social image of disability is important because it easily shows that all we need is love. All we need is to accept ourselves and accept others, as they are, were, or will be.
