Hello my name Sam Beard, I started a company called Massage Xcape about 2 years ago after being a carpet cleaner for over 10 years. This idea began from just a blank piece of paper and a vision to create a new concept in the market that could be a better place to work and relax than our competitors. However, unfortunately no one else saw that vision except for me so I had to struggle to get the business started with no knowledge or working capital. I wanted to create a business that offered a variety of unique services to our clients geared towards your overall health and wellness. Our model offers Massage, Couples Massage, Steam Sauna, Ion foot Cleanse, Colon Hydrotherapy, Workplace Wellness and Health Promotions. I started with a empty space, $5,000 not good credit and a lot of ambition because most people did not believe I would survive a few months. I worked out a deal whereas the landlord would pay most of the build out cost, took out a 10k loan at $119% interest and proceeded to work tirelessly over the past two years in order to survive. 7 days a week 12 hours a day. I did a lot of things correctly and I did a lot things incorrectly so there has been constant change, improvements and growth. I'm happy to say that we have grown to 20 team members and two locations so far.
