That our nation will turn to god and do the things that are right. That we will have greater investment which will lead to increase growth in our economy. That each person will take into consideration the needs of others who are less fortunate. That this country will become a safe place for this generation and the next. That our leaders will take into consideration the needs of the people of this country and do the necessary changes that will make their lives better. That each of us will work to make our nation one of the best place to live on this earth.

the first positive thing i want for Jamaica is a reduction in the crime and murder rate, number two is for the government to create more jobs to reduce the unemployment rate, a good way to do this is to build factories so that more persons with skills can get jobs, number three thing is that i would want the jamaican dollar to freeze at 105usd so that it does not continue to inflate.. i want want the dollar to strengthen but it would be good if we could come to an agreement to freeze it at 105$.number four, i would want jamaica to invest more in solar energy, we have alot of sunshine throughout the year hence that would be a great iniatitive, number five the government should also invest in farming as agriculture is important in boosting the country's economy, last but not least is that i would want jamaica to develop a system for the young football talents for the transition from playing manning cup to playing for the national team. over the years we have seen so many stars in the various school leagues and .then its a case of "where are they now".

1. For Jamaicans to appreciate the persons who are way below the poor level. So we have more persons being involved with Charity. For example, your presence at Digicel Night Run, You gain a personal benefit of health but more importantly the improvement of special needs schools and organizations
2. Talk more, Shoot less or none at all (We are too quick to retaliate with war, let’s talk and learn to forgive)
3. For teenagers/school leavers to have something to be passionate about. If you want something in life with passion, you will most likely dig your way or illuminate your own path to find your way. Government can aid in this by offering more school leavers’ initiatives.
4. For us to be border free and develop low line communities, "Remove the Zincs", build proper structures.
5. For the government to cushion more of basic food necessities like sugar, flour and rice, so we don’t see so many increases throughout the year, when most have little or no income.
6. For Jamaica to have National Day of Prayer, or even if one exist make it more known, a bigger initiative by incorporating corporate giants, like Digicel (Jamaica’s Bigger Better Network) as without prayer the country and more so it’s people will perish

1) More love and unity towards each other. As our motto says, out of many, one people.
2) For us to realize that getting an education is more of a privilege. There are many less fortunate that would die for such an opportunity. Make hay while the sun shine
3) To start living within our means and stop the unnecessary over-spending. It pays to save. Every mickle make a muckle.
4) To be more proactive. Take responsibility of your lives. Stop blaming everything on others.
5) Government to do more in helping the people. Improve employment opportunitues, improve standard of living and so forth. Too many Jamaicans are suffering.
6) Jamaicans to be more spiritual. Get close r to God, pray more. Know God, know peace. No God, no peace.

For 2014 the six positives as I would like to see happening in Jamaica are:
1.Economic stability and growth occurring monthly so that as a country we can become debt free by 2016.
2. A 90% increase in job opportunities for all individuals who is in need of a job.
3.I would that the farmers and manufactures of Jamaica efforts gets more recognition and that we as a nation buy the products and foods that they produce/ grow so that the spirit of entrepreneurship continues.
4.The government give more genuine attention to the needs/wants of the nation in the areas of education, health, job opportunities and housing.Especially to individuals of the vulnerable communities that is children, the disabled and the elderly; more must be done as the children are our future, the elderly are the individuals who has brought Jamaica this far and the disabled are worthwhile citizens who is making and will continue to make valuable contribution to Jamaica.
5.I wish that CRIME AND VIOLENCE decrease by 98% so that we as a nation can fulfill our National Vision Statement "2013" that "JAMAICA BE THE PLACE OF CHOICE TO LIVE ,WORK,RAISE OUR FAMILIES AND DO BUSINESS"
6.The need for Jamaica to attract not only more tourist but meaningful investors who will aid the country's growth. I wish also that the Justice System be given teeth to enforce the laws of the country because its pointless we have on paper laws that cannot be carried out.

The Governor General of Jamaica His Excellency the Most Honorable Sir Patrick Allen states that, " I believe we can use the things that are right with Jamaica to right the ones that are wrong" It is in this light, that my 2014 dream for my county Jamaica, my beautiful island home is as follows:
1. Citizens will have access to more educational facilities, predominately tertiary level education irrespective of their economic status. Nelson Mandela rightly states "education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world". In this light, citizens will be motivated to achieve their goals and create an atmosphere where everyone will be held accountable for their own growth and development.
2.The country will return to its roots where God is the center and where everything revolves around Him. Where we as a people will fear him and follow His commandments. A nation built by God cannot be set apart.
3. All Jamaica are given the opportunity to unleash our God given talents and make a positive indelible mark on the lives we come across while placing Jamaica on the map, like all the others before us have done. E.g. Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Usain Bolt, Shelly Ann-Frazer, Sean Paul and most recently Tessanne Chin. Build what is endemic to Jamaica, good food, good vibe, and a people that is passionate. Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do -Nelson Mandela.
4. A better system of government where the interest of the people is held at heart and not merely to see or obtain power.
5. A more family oriented society with responsible and dependable parents predominately fathers who will ensure that our nations children's cognitive, psychosocial, emotional, and physical development are catered to in an effective and efficient manner. "I believe the children are the future teach them well and let them lead the way" -Whitney Houston
"If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three societal members who can make a difference. They are: the father, the mother and the teacher"-Abdul Kalam
6. More crime prevention and eradication methods are put in place and reinforced to preserve the lives of the nation's people. this can be executed in several ways: 1. Provide active clubs and societies to engage young people predominately school drop outs, unemployed and unengaged. 2. Provide skills training centres and job opportunities after the completion of training.3. Inform citizens of their rights and how to exercise them.
In essence, I support the nation's 2030 Vision Statement, where Jamaica will be the place of choice to live, raise families and do business.

For 2014 I would like to see
1. A reduction in crime and violence against all persons irrespective of sex, gender, political persuasion, age, sexual orientation, class: Promote peace and love for all citizens.
2. Economic growth-So that cost of living can be drastically reduced enabling citizens to take better care of themselves and their families; and so that the dollar can be stabilized.
3. Job creation for the unemployed so that there are less idle hands. These idle hands may cause an increase in criminal activities of all sorts.
4. Better care facilities for the nations children who are either homeless and/or parent less(the ones in homes and adult correctional facilities) ; and the elderly who are homeless and need special care.
5. Jamaica to be less dependent on imported produce/products and get closer to being self contained. The money saved could be better spent on improving education system, providing electricity and running water to the areas who are yet to realize this dream.
6. Improved justice/legal system that offer professional unbiased service to all Citizens not just to the elite.
