I would like to give my father a #BrighterChristmas; to him I owe everything. My father has worked two jobs or more for as long as I can remember to support my family of seven. I have never heard him complain a day in his life and I have never seen him rest. This year, he had an accident and I almost lost him; I must admit before this I never really thought of the sacrifices that he has made but now that I have I am most appreciative. I can't name one specific thing that he deserves most because I believe he deserves everything that is good in this world.
Often times we forget to show gratitude and yes, I have fallen short in this category and this Christmas I believe my dad deserves a vacation to a neighboring island to relax and enjoy this short and wonderful life. Children and wives appreciate the men in your lives. It may not necessarily be your biological father or a husband but just some that has been there through the hard times, some one that has lent support in each and every possible without any hesitation.
My father is the type of man to give you what he doesn't have because he knows what it is to need and can't afford. Men like this are lacking in the world and should know that they are appreciated. Daddy, I would like you to know you are loved and you are appreciated. I may not say it frequently or my actions may say otherwise but this Christmas I really would like to send you on a well deserving vacation. I love you, daddy!
