DrumPants is a wearable controller platform for controlling music, games and mobile apps with a simple tap on your body.
By placing the controller on the body we’re making technology more intuitive: focus on the interaction and experience instead of staring at your screen.
Our wearable sensors “drumpads” can be worn under any clothing, not just pants. Our foot pedals go into any sized shoe. Or use them another way!
The hardware has over 100 built-in sounds, from drums to piano to strings, but this is just our starting point.
Our app, for iOS/Android/Google Glass/Mac/Windows, creates the platform so anyone can control any phone/tablet/laptop with our wearable controller. So, besides controlling over 300 music apps on the App store alone, imagine controlling slideshows, Pandora, or--as teams of Berkley students did at this year's GDC Intel Hackathon--create physical running and sword fighting games played with our controllers.
