Shangoo is a very simple app that shows weather forecast using Augmented Reality, its distinctive qualities are: the innovative user interface and the way the AR experience is implemented. Regarding the latter feature the developer wanted to show that even just using the 'old' gyro-compass tracking, a nice but convincing AR experience is still possible despite the advanced tracking methods available today...the point is: if you can do something easily then just do it and do it the easy way, that's what Shangoo is all about.
Regarding the user interface the developer wanted to let the user change the time of the day using a 'clock' metaphor, that's the rationale behind the circular interface (hint: try to tap and drag the little dot all the way around to change the day forward/backward).
Finally, social sharing is available via Twitter or Facebook: just rotate the device in landscape to show the 'capture & share' interface, take a photo and share it.
