The Book a Free Consultation Campaign is a powerful way to get new leads. People sign up to get a free consultation from you, or one of your team members, to get advice on fitness, nutrition and their health.

It’s the perfect way to get new leads for your fitness centre or personal training company: People who are interested in improving their health sign up for a free, no-risk consultation with you. During the consultation you can provide them with helpful information to help them improve their health to showcase your expertise. You can also explain the benefits of your fitness training services to turn them into customers.

The Book a Free Consultation Campaign has 3 steps:

Advertise to people when they search for a personal fitness trainer in your area to drive them to your Booking Page.

On this page, people learn about you and your free fitness consultation and fill out a signup form with their contact details to sign up for one.

Step 3: Thank You Page

The Thank You Page tells people they’ve signed up successfully and that you’ll contact them shortly with more details about their consultation.

Step 1: Google Adwords Ad

Google Adwords Ads make it easy for you to promote your personal training services to people when they search for one on Google.

    Reach your fitness goals with Seattle’s top personal trainers.

    1. Headline

    In the first part of the Headline, show text that the person is likely to have entered in their Google search. This will make them feel like the Ad is personally relevant to them, and make it more likely that they’ll click. In the second part of the Headline, Book Your Free Consultation, show a call-to-action. This tells people exactly what they will get when they click on the Ad, making it more likely for them to do so.

    2. Display URL Path

    The best thing to have in the Display URL Path is the keyword that the person entered on Google. This will make it super relevant for them, as it uses the exact words they were thinking of. You can do this using Keyword Insertion. In the Google Adwords builder, enter {keyword:consultation} into the Display Path field. This will make the Display Path show the keyword that the person searched for, or show consultation if Google can’t display the keyword.

    3. Call Extension

    Use the Call Extension to add your phone number to your Ad. This way, people can call you directly by clicking the Ad, which is especially useful for people who see your Ad while using their mobile phone.

    Describe your personal fitness training services in 1-2 short sentences.

    Note: This keyword is just a starting point. For best results you should experiment with it and try similar variations.

    Why are Google Adwords Ads effective for this Campaign?

    The reason they’re effective is because they’re shown to people at the moment they’re asking Google for information about personal fitness trainers in their area. This, of course, means that they’re interested in booking your personal training services. So you’re able to show your Ad exclusively to an audience of people that are interested in your services, which is the most effective way to advertise.

Step 2: Booking Page

This page is where people sign up for their free fitness consultation. It has two jobs:

  • 1. Convince people to sign up for a free consultation

    The page’s first job is to convince people to signup. This is done first by making it easy to do so, by having the sign up form right at the top of the page. And by adding elements to convince them: Using the word “Free” in the page title and call-to-action button, showing the aspects and benefits of the consultation in easy-to-read bullet list sections and having a testimonial.

  • 2: Build interest in your Fitness Centre or Personal Training Services:

    The last two sections on the page are there to showcase your company: One allows you to show a bullet list of the highlights of your fitness centre or personal training services. And the other displays your location and contact info, which shows people that you’re a solid, trustworthy company.

Show social proof with a testimonial from one of your clients. This helps build trust in people and makes them feel more comfortable with booking a consultation with you.

Discuss your trainer’s expertise and experience and the highlights of your personal training services.

7. Location & Contact Details

Show your address, phone number and hours of operation. This shows people you meet their needs in terms of their location and schedule and shows legitimacy.

Step 3: Thank You Page

After a person submits the sign up form on the Booking Page, they’re sent to the Thank You Page. On this page, we show a thank you message to confirm they’ve signed up, and a message to tell them what will happen next.

How to create this Campaign in Wishpond

The Book a Free Consultation Campaign is available for free on any plan in Wishpond. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Sign up for a Wishpond account.
  2. Select Fitness & Health as your Industry
  3. In the Campaigns Dashboard, click on Book a Free Consultation. This will take you to the Campaign Builder where you can edit the Booking Page and Thank You Page. They will look exactly the same as they do above, and you’ll be able to edit and style them however you like.
  4. Publish your Campaign to your website or a wishpond.com URL.
  5. Create your Google Ad and set the Ad’s Destination URL to the Campaign URL.
