Description

The Free 7-Day Membership Campaign is an easy way to get new leads for your fitness centre. On the Sign Up Page, people are asked to sign up with they contact information to get a free 7-day pass for your fitness centre.

This enables you to attract new leads who are interested in joining your fitness centre with a “free trial”. After they sign up, you’ll contact them to come into your fitness centre to get their free pass and try out your fitness centre – making it easy for you to turn them into paying members.

The Free 7-Day Membership Campaign has 3 steps:

Step 1: Google Adwords Ad

Advertise to people when they search for a gym or fitness centre in your area to drive them to your Sign Up Page.

On the Sign Up Page, people fill out the sign up form to get their 7-day free membership from you./p>

Step 3: Thank You Page

The Thank You Page tells people they’ve signed up for their free membership pass and that you’ll contact them shortly to provide it to them.

Step 1: Google Adwords Ad

Google Adwords Ads make it easy for you to promote your fitness centre to people when they search for one on Google.

This is a pre-built Google Adwords Ad that we’ve used for our fitness centre clients:

    Reach your fitness goals at Seattle’s top fitness center.

    1. Headline

    In the first part of the Headline, show text that the person is likely to have entered in their Google search. This will make them feel like the Ad is personally relevant to them, and make it more likely that they’ll click. In the second part of the Headline, Free 7-Day Membership, show a call-to-action. This tells people exactly what they will get when they click on the Ad, making it more likely for them to do so.

    2. Display URL Path

    The best thing to have in the Display URL Path is the keyword that the person entered on Google. This will make it super relevant for them, as it uses the exact words they were thinking of. You can do this using Keyword Insertion. In the Google Adwords builder, enter {keyword:free-membership} into the Display Path field. This will make the Display Path show the keyword that the person searched for, or show free-membership if Google can’t display the keyword.

    3. Call Extension

    Use the Call Extension to add your phone number to your Ad. This way, people can call you directly by clicking the Ad, which is especially useful for people who see your Ad while using their mobile phone.

    Describe your fitness center in 1-2 short sentences.

    This keyword targets people who are searcThis keyword targets people who are searching for fitness centres in Seattle. It uses broad match modifiers for +Fitness +Centre +Seattle to target people who are specifically searching for fitness centres in Seattle.

    Note: This keyword is just a starting point. For best results you should experiment with it and try similar variations.

    Why are Google Adwords Ads effective for this Campaign?

    The reason they’re effective is because they’re shown to people at the moment they’re asking Google for information about fitness centres in their area. This, of course, means that they’re interested in joining your fitness centre. So you’re able to show your Ad exclusively to an audience of people that are interested in what you offer, which is the most effective way to advertise.

Step 2: Sign Up Page

The Sign Up Page is where people register for their free membership pass. It has two jobs:

  • 1. Make it easy for people to sign up:

    The form is placed at the top of the page so people can immediately see it when they land on the page. And the title and subtext explain what a person should do on the page: Sign up to get a free pass to your fitness centre.

  • 2: Introduce yourself and your fitness centre:

    The page includes several sections to showcase your fitness centre and its amenities.

1. Top Bar

Show your logo and phone number right at the top, so people can easily reach you right from the page.

2. Hero Section

Includes the following:

  • Headline
  • The headline is framed as an action-statement to tell people what they should do.

  • Subtext
  • In 1-2 sentences, tell people what they’ll get access to with your free pass.

  • Subheadline

    This is the call-to-action that tells visitors what to do.

3. Client Testimonial

Show a testimonial from one of your clients to showcase the value and results that your clients have achieved by training at your fitness centre.

4. Fitness Centre Highlights

Showcase the biggest selling points of your fitness centre. For you that may be your classes, but it could also be your cardio equipment, muscle recovery services, etc.

5. Amenities

Showcase your fitness centre’s most popular amenities in an easy-to-view, visual layout.

6. About your Facility

Discuss the details of your fitness centre facility so that people can get a sense of what it will be like. This will make them feel more confident knowing what they will be experiencing when they go there for the first time

7. Location & Contact Details

Display your fitness center’s location, phone number and hours of operation. This helps people see that you’re located near them, they can reach you by phone, and you’re a real, trustworthy business.

Step 3: Thank You Page

After a person submits the form on the Sign Up Page, they’re taken to the Thank You Page. On this page, you show people a message to thank them for signing up, and to tell them what will happen next. You can also show them your location and contact details, so they have access to them and don’t have to go back to the Sign Up Page to find them.

How to create this Campaign in Wishpond

The Free 7-Day Membership Campaign is available for free on all Wishpond plans. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Sign up for a Wishpond account.
  2. Select Fitness & Health as your Industry
  3. In the Campaigns Dashboard, click View More, then scroll down and click on Free 7-Day Membership. This will take you to the Campaign Builder where you can edit the Sign Up Page and Thank You Page. They will look just like they do above, and you’ll be able to customize them however you want.
  4. Publish your Campaign to your website or a wishpond.com URL.
  5. Create your Google Ad and set the Ad’s Destination URL to the Campaign URL.
